The app is called LockWidgets 8 and allows users to add upwards to three information areas to their lockscreens, including electric current temperature, tomorrow'due south  temp and bombardment life. Some detailed information is likewise included similar estimated time left on the charge and if information technology is clear or rainy out.

Users tin select the groundwork image from Bing, NASA or their own images and include "weather furnishings", which can add rain droplets and presumably other graphical changes to the background image.

The app does accept a gratis trial (and information technology volition postage "Trial version" on the lockscreen, overlapping with your agenda information) but users are free to use information technology for equally long as they want.[Edit: Watermark for app trial has been removed].
